  what seriously pisses me off here in the UK--is the way covid deaths are calculated: death from any reason within 28 days of a positive test result.

  any reason...murdered?..suicide..? accident ..? other fatal illness .. ?

  what the figures dont show is the ages and ethnicity--and other life limiting illnesses.

  the vast majority are the very elderly--80 plus..likely to die anyway---of the most common cause of death---old age.

  the morbidly obese...those with lung issues caused by smoking..heavy drinkers those stats arent mentioned.

  too many ordinary people just trying to get on with their lives..mixing--getting too close--risking it---and for the most part will not suffer at all.
